Prepare for the speaking part of your FIDE German test with the same tasks our teachers use in their FIDE preparation courses.

Whether you need the FIDE test for a permit or for citizenship, the speaking test asks you to handle everyday situations in German. This pack lets you practise those situations, at your level and at your own pace, until they feel familiar.

What’s included

• Over 150 speaking tasks at A2 and B1

• 7 A1 tasks designed to reflect the structure and expectations of the FIDE A1 oral exam

• Exam-style prompts, examiner-style questions and role-plays, based on the official FIDE themes

• Clear instructions for every task

• Everyday situations: housing, work, daily routines, transport and more

How we support your preparation

• Created by our teachers at My Linguistics in Geneva, who run our FIDE preparation courses

• Used in our own FIDE courses, so you practise with the materials our students work with

• Kept up to date: new exercises are added during your 12 months of access

• Flexible: practise on your own, with a partner, in class or with your tutor

Is this the right pack for you?

• This pack if you need the speaking test only, for example for a B or C permit, or if you have already passed the written part.

• German FIDE Practice Papers – A1–B1 – 1 Year Full Access (CHF 85) if you also need the written test, as for most C permit and citizenship applications. It adds reading and writing papers with AI feedback.

Try before you buy: a free A2 and a free B1 speaking task are on our “FIDE Sample Papers – German” page.
