Silence Please!
Talking about others
The unit's objective is to familiarize students with an intermediate vocabulary and syntax necessary to introduce someone else and describe their day: Discuss where they're from, what they do in life, where they are coming from and going to, what they are going to do etc. Students will also study how to talk about other people they have met.
Hours: Approximately 10 hours
Unit Objectives:
- By the end of the unit, you should be able to:
- Describe, in simple terms, a sequence of events that makes up someone's day.
- Ask and answer questions about someone's day and daily activities.
- The vocabulary and sentence structures explored over units 7, 8, and 9 provide students with the material necessary to introduce themselves and others. Additional conversational exercises encourage students to develop a vocabulary adapted to their unique stories and specific needs.
