A Busy Week
Describing the leisure activities during your week
The unit explores the vocabulary and syntax necessary to hold an intermediate conversation to describe what you do during your spare time over a typical week.
Hours: Approximately 8 hours
- By the end of the unit, you should be able to:
- Describe, in some detail, what you do for your spare time during a regular week: Where you go, if you go there regularly, your activities, who you go with, etc.
- Ask someone, with some detail, what they do in their spare time during a regular week: Where they go, if they go there regularly, their activities, who they go with, etc.
- Describe someone else’s week and what they do in their spare time: Where they go, if they go there regularly, their activities, who they go with, etc.
- The unit explores vocabulary used when asking and answering questions about your or someone’s week. The unit provides the language needed to formulate answers and ask questions. For students to explore the vocabulary best suited to their context, the unit includes various spoken exercises to build the vocabulary linked to each student’s personal experience.
