A Tiring Weekend
Asking and answering questions about your weekend
The unit follows the story of two colleagues discussing their weekend. Students will explore and discover the vocabulary and syntax needed to hold an intermediate-level discussion about their leisure time.
Hours: Approximately 9 hours
- By the end of the unit, you should be able to:
- Describe what you do over your weekend: Where you go, how regularly you go, who you go with, where you go etc.
- Ask someone about their activities over their weekend: Where they go, how regularly they go, who you go with, where they go etc.
- Describe someone else's weekend: Where they go, how regularly they go, who you go with, where they go etc.
- The unit explores key vocabulary used to discuss your weekend or another person's weekend. The unit provides the language needed to formulate answers and ask questions, as well as very general vocabulary that could apply to many people. Guided exercises are paired with conversational exercises to help students develop a language best suited to their daily needs.
