Introducing yourself

The unit’s objective is to familiarize students with the essential vocabulary and syntax necessary to introduce themselves: your name, where you’re from, your nationality, your work, and your studies. Students will also explore the vocabulary needed to introduce someone else.

Role Play – Summary

1. Listen to the conversation without stopping the recording.

2. Now:

One person plays the first role, the other the second.
One of you follows along using the text, the other without it.
Then, change roles.
Finally, act out the conversation without using the text.

The objective is to have the same or a similar conversation. If you don’t remember the exact text, if you change the order of words or sentences, or even use different words to complete the conversation, it’s not a problem. The aim is to be able to tell the story using the structures studied in the last few lessons.
