Talking with Strangers: Introducing Yourself and Asking Questions

Objective:

Learn how to introduce yourself, ask simple questions to someone you don’t know, and answer personal questions.

Key Cards – Instructions:

  • Work in groups of two or three people.
  • One of you takes a character card, another takes a question card.
  • The person with the question card wants to learn more about the other.
  • The character card provides a few answers. For missing details, use your imagination.
  • Act out the conversation orally. Then, switch roles and pick new cards.
